  • You are passionate about building and taking ownership of an early-stage startup. Partner with the CEO and CTO (founding team) to create a world-class Sales practice in data operations, one of the fastest-growing enterprise opportunities.

Role Responsibilities

  • Build and grow a new market focusing on enterprise accounts through prospecting, collaborating with an SDR, and networking

  • Collaborate with and leverage teammates to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities

  • Become an expert on Switchboard’s product and conduct discovery calls and presentations with prospective customers

  • Effectively sell the value of Switchboard to key stakeholders within the account while navigating a complex sales cycle including multiple stakeholders across engineering, analytics, and marketing.

  • Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using SFDC

  • Exceed quarterly bookings targets.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS at 4-year accredited college or equivalent life experience

  • 3+ years of closing experience in a high-growth Software as a Service (SaaS) environment

  • Experience selling six-figure contracts in complex enterprise environments

  • Experience with Solution Selling, MEDDICC, Challenger, or similar enterprise sales methodology

Head of Marketing

Role Overview

Be Data Strong! Switchboard enables non-technical business teams to drive real-time data analysis by unifying data from disparate places and systems into a single source of truth. Help us tell our story and accelerate demand for our platform. We are looking for a multi-faceted Head of Marketing who knows how to speak fluently to and engage with enterprise customers about the transformative business benefits of an innovative new data platform. The successful candidate will be an enterprise marketing leader that combines data with creativity to create brand awareness and demand from high-value enterprise customers. Being able to translate the co-founder’s deep insights into clear messaging and collaborate with the sales team to fill a qualified pipeline is a must. You proudly wear the stripes from building your team and tools from the ground up to establish sustainable, scalable processes that have helped achieve multiples of ARR growth. 

This key player-coach role will refine and amplify the brand message to attract and convert marquee logos that can quickly realize sustained value from our technology data platform. You report directly to the CEO and partner with our CTO and our head of sales. Our customers rely deeply on our platform, subject-matter expertise, and data science skills to help them grow revenue and you’ll be responsible for making sure our message is heard loud and clear in all the right conversations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft messaging and positioning for our brand and product

  • Partner with sales to define and execute Switchboard’s growth strategy

  • Orchestrate the right demand generation plays to meet and exceed the company’s aggressive objectives for qualified target accounts

  • Implement a high-impact content marketing playbook that sets Switchboard apart in the data space

  • Leverage the company’s enterprise customer logos and create social proof in the form of customer references, quotes, and case studies

  • Manage all external marketing efforts - from web site to communications to webinars - to ensure brand integrity 

  • Build and maintain a culture of marketing measurement to assess what is working and what is not

  • Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets


  • 7-10 years of increasing responsibility in key marketing leadership roles for an enterprise SaaS organization

  • 3-5 years managing a lean marketing team: recruit, hire, and onboarding 

  • Deep knowledge of the Data and Marketing Analytics universe and use cases involving 3rd-party data, such as customer journey, revenue tracking, customer segmentation, etc. 

  • Marketing approach and methodologies that signal the inherent value of six-figure enterprise SLA contracts

  • Mastery of ecosystem marketing and effective execution of marketing and integration partnerships.

  • Hands-on experience working with the modern marketing stack and best-in-class tools


  • Bachelors in Marketing or related discipline preferred

  • Departmental P&L Responsibility

  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills

  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset; Innate problem-solver able to dig into root cause issues and create solutions

Full Stack Engineer

You are passionate about building and taking ownership of an early-stage startup. Partner with the CTO and Chief Architect to build out a world-class platform for DataOps, one of the fastest-growing enterprise opportunities. 

You are an engineer who

  • Has experience launching a new product or major product release. You are an expert in large scale distributed systems. 

  • Can own and execute mission-critical feature iterations, while working collaboratively with engineers across the entire application stack. 

  • Is excited to tackle the challenge of designing systems that remain reliable and responsive under periods of intense load. 

  • Understand how critical well-tested components are for team velocity, and you use metrics to maximize system performance. 

  • Possess a learning mindset. An authentic drive for personal growth and empowering the same for others.


Basic Qualifications

  • B.S. or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field

  • 3+ years experience developing in an object oriented language (Python & Scala a plus)

  • Minimum 2+ years experience developing in Javascript or Typescript (React a plus)

  • Minimum 1+ years experience working on backend/server systems

  • 1+ years experience with SQL databases (NoSQL a plus)

  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; a team player with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities


Preferred Experience

  • Designed, built, and tested large E-commerce, Ads or other data applications

  • Distributed systems, including Spark and SQL databases

  • Experience deploying and troubleshooting in production environments

  • Automated functional and load testing

  • Familiarity with retrieving data from RESTful APIs (SOAP a plus)

  • Familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes a plus
