About the Space

Market research firm IDC predicts big data analytics will continue to swell into a $274.3 billion market by 2022. However, only those organizations with robust resources and highly skilled data science and engineering teams can swiftly monetize and take advantage of data analytics. Switchboard’s low/no-code data unification platform dramatically reduces the time and skilled resources needed to build and operate large-scale analytics.

Role Overview

Be Data Strong! Switchboard enables non-technical business teams to drive real-time data analysis by unifying data from disparate places and systems into a single source of truth. This Demand Generation Manager will be responsible for creating, executing, and measuring the efficacy of all digital campaigns and programs. She/he will be working closely with the Head of Marketing and the Head of Sales to proactively plan the sales plays, design the campaign calendar and drive the execution via our marketing automation tool, i.e. Hubspot. She/he will own the health plan and goals reporting on MQLs and sales accepted opportunities every week. Also, she/he needs to be a strong content writer focused on conversions with a decent pulse on the cloud and data space to craft email, ad and social copy.

Experience

  • BS/BA required.

  • Deep understanding of SaaS B2B and B2B2C marketing.

  • 3+ years of enterprise demand generation experience.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of initiative, with the ability to work in and across teams.

  • Exceptional ability to write and produce engaging content and emails, able to write quickly and concisely for non-technical audiences to market a technical product. Writing samples required.

  • Prior experience in running targeted ABM campaigns to enterprise audiences.

  • Prior experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, and Demandbase.

  • Experience in early stage startups scaling to tens of millions of ARR.

Qualifications

  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking skills that demonstrate valuable business insights.

  • Proven success in traffic generation and ad operations (often takes 4+ years of digital marketing experience).

  • Expert in Google, Bing, and Facebook/LinkedIn Advertising Suites, Google Analytics and Excel (pivot tables, V lookups, etc.), with knowledge of other digital software.

  • Attention to detail and executional follow through within a fast-paced environment.

  • Precise organizational skills and ability to project manage multiple objectives at once.

  • Ability to partner with sales and drive an influenced pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and optimize demand generation nurtures and paid advertising efforts aligned with business goals, namely targeted account based marketing campaigns, PPC and social advertising.

  • Utilize the Hubspot platform, own and execute demand generation activities included, but not limited to, engagement campaigns (lead nurturing), prospect intelligence, lead scoring, digital content strategy (gated content offers), and more.

  • Work to provide reporting and actively monitor and analyze the health of marketing's contribution to the sales pipeline & conversion, program ROI, customer acquisition + penetration, and lead acquisition activity.

  • Oversee ad copy creation, testing, web analytics, retargeting initiatives and new channel testing to optimize campaigns to hit the company performance goals.

  • Develop a deep understanding of customers, products, solutions, and the buyer’s journey.

  • Assist with landing page optimization and SEO projects.
